Many Parents believe that what is good for the parents will be good for the children. Although many children can experience psychological problems, loneliness, and may experience anger. Few children expect their parents to divorce. They do not prepare themselves for divorce; many children refuse to accept the reality of the divorce.

After a divorce children may have a feeling of being insecure. Their life as they once knew it has been changed forever. Children may feel frightened about the changes taking place in their life. They may feel rejected when one parent move out of the home. Children may even feel that they are no longer wanted or loved.
